How to split a PDF
- 1. Add your PDF file — drop it in the box or pick it from your computer.
- 2. Choose how many pages go in each piece — every page by default.
- 3. Press Split PDF and download the parts, one by one or all at once in a ZIP. It usually takes a few seconds.
Questions about splitting PDFs
- How does the split work?
- You pick one PDF and one number: a file is made every N pages. One file per page is the default, but a group of 5 or 10 works just as well. The parts download one by one, or all at once in a ZIP.
- Do my files get uploaded anywhere?
- Never. Convertasia has no file server. Your PDF is opened, split and saved entirely inside your browser tab, and nothing is sent over the internet.
- Is there a size limit or a file limit?
- No. The split runs on your own computer, so there is no server cap. A split can produce up to 200 parts, which covers any reasonable file — and your browser memory is the only practical ceiling on size.
- Is it really free?
- Yes — every tool on Convertasia is free and unlimited, with no account and no watermark.
